The term "Early Riser" is one of the new Internet buzzwords of the last year. It seems that everyone whether their market is general personal development, business, or time management fields everyone wants to learn become an early riser!
This is an introduction "Early Rising" and will show you how you can do it 2 simple steps!
Why Start Early Rising?
If you get up late then your eating pattern is out of line as well as your body rhythms - especially your sleeping / waking pattern. If you get up early you will be 10x more productive. You get a good start to the day which you will want to carry on with. You will also have an abundance of energy, and a better focus.
How do you actually make the transition?
it is simpler than you think - it only requires you make 2 changes:
- You don’t have to go to bed at the same time, simply go to bed whenever you are tired.
- Set an alarm in the morning. An alarm in the morning will ensure that you get up at the same time each day and help to stabalize bedtime. Once you can up at the same time every day for a month it will become a habit. You will know when you have to be up so your body will get tired at the appropriate times.
On one hand it looks quite simple, but don't take a short cut. The only way to approach this is to make a big change.
The formula is actually really simple: You go to bed when you feel sleepy, and wake up at the same time each morning. Sometimes the simple solutions in life are the best. But here are some more tips to keep you on track:
- Don’t stay up too late: When you feel tired go to sleep.
- Read in Bed: This will calm your mind, you will know when it is time to go to sleep whereas other more energetic activities will "hide" your sleepyness from you.
- Don't press the Snooze button: An extra 5-10 minutes snoozing won't make any difference. All this does is leads to even more snooozing and is the end for your new early waking lifestyle.
