  • Backlinks: Why they are important and how to get them
By admin on October 26th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

    backlinks clinic

For any web page to be ‘ranked’ in the search engines and receive traffic it’s critical it has backlinks. Backlinks have three key elements, the source from which the backlinks are derived, the anchor text of the backlinks and what’s on the page to which the backlinks directs the visitor to.

    The quantity of backlinks

The number of backlinks to a page is one of the factors the search engines consider when deciding how to position the page in the results displayed to the searcher.

    The source of the backlinks

The source of a backlink can pass authority and indeed searchers to the page to which it points. So it follows that pages with backlinks from authoritative pages will receive a much higher value consideration from the search engines. Pages from sources such as educational (.edu) or government (.gov) sites naturally posess more trust and authority.

    Google Page Rank

Google has the concept of ‘page rank’, this is the property it awards to a page it considers to have accumulated authority over time from backlinks pointing towards it.

    The ‘anchor text’

When you see a backlink on a web page it sometimes has a label a word or text associated with the subject at the page to which this backlink is pointing, what this ‘anchor text’ says has influence upon the value the search engines give to the link. Relevance is the first principle for most search engine software and it follows if the content of the page is about ‘drying chillis” then it is from a search engine’s point of view, more valuable for the backlink’s anchor text to this page to contain the word ‘chilli’ as opposed to a related term such as ‘drying spices’.

    Common issues

The majority people mess up their backlinks building activities because they focus on quantity as opposed to quality of backlinks. Having a substantial number of backlinks to your page doesn’t necessarily mean the search engines will view your page as relevant.

    How to build backlinks

So here is my tried and tested advice for getting backlinks to your pages, good visibility in the search engine results pages and the right type of traffic to your site.

    1. It is critical you select the right keywords before you expend any effort whatsoever.
    2. I like to build a keyword ‘cloud’.
    3. I always start with a single primary keyword or key phrase which has substantial visitor traffic.
    4. To uncover how much visitor traffic is being coming from searches for my primary keyword I use the Google keyword analyzer tool.
    5. The Google tool displays a list of keywords associated with my main keyword and from this list I create my cloud.
    6. From this cloud I generate a library of content containing articles, videos and blog posts each with backlinks labeled with the right anchor text and then use a portfolio of content distribution systems to send my articles and videos to a wide range of directories.
    7. My guiding principle is to write content that will attract traffic and compel them to follow the backlinks to my target pages as well as send backlinks.
  • Internet Marketing And The Role Of Email Marketing
By admin on October 26th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

    * Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
    * Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
    * Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
    * Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
    * Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

An Important ONLINE AUDIO STREAMING Report:
From One Goal Oriented Online Home Business Owner to Another

In hard times like these, finding new ways to increase profits is often the highest reward experience for every corporate executive.

What are the options? Amazingly, it really should not be any surprise that one of the best ways that is encountered for the entrepreneur to change for the better is to find a publisher for a book and make it a bestseller.

Wonderful, you’ve made the decision to self-publish a book. Congratulations, success is in your future! A book can give you credentials and help you to draw higher numbers of clients to your business. If such things are your only reasons, then the sooner you self-publish a book, the better. However, if you are just focusing on having a book fast, you might miss one of the best reasons for having a book…and that is to make money.

Getting an eternal bestseller credential and attracting more clients can actually be achieved quicker and easier says book business expert DrProactive Randy Gilbert, if you “slow down and take some time to create a bestselling business around your book”. DrProactive says you will end up with a higher profits, a better book, and a passive income far in excessive of what the book alone would have earned.

DrProactive calls it a “bestselling business,” because it can make you a bestselling author and a millionaire at the same time. Getting busy and starting to write a book that has a business created as an integral part of it, is super important.

Getting a book published through a traditional publisher is hard, but you can use an easier and better way with your book. A big New York publisher won’t pay an advance or accept a book unless you have an agent, and agent won’t want to represent you until you’ve been published.

On the other hand, there is a steep learning curve for dozens of technically difficult tasks in order to self-publish. And the price tag for this route is ,000 to ,000 when all is said and done.

Fortunately for the smart person who wants to publish a book and use it to make money, there is a new alternative. There are three book publishing strategies that anyone can use to eliminate publishing problems and receive the best benefits of a big New York Publisher and of Self-Publishing.

Strategy 1 – Never give your copyrights away.

Two of the biggest benefits you want are being in creative control and making money from your book. You will enjoy these two self-publishing benefits if you find a New York Publisher that doesn’t buy the copyright to your book, but instead encourages you to use as much of the content of your book as you want to create other products that will make you money.

Strategy 2 – Get your book distributed as widely as possible.

The biggest benefit of a New York Publisher is the wide distribution of your book. Proactively choosing a publisher with wide dissemination will give you the advantage of sustaining higher sales. This will exponentially increase your income, because each book sold in a bookstore will bring the reader back to your website, where you will sell them your other products.

Strategy 3 – Turn your book into a business with a great marketing plan.

A great benefit of using a big publisher is being forced to have a good marketing plan. But the smart authors today take it to a whole new level. You should start creating a bestselling book business as soon as your have your book idea, rather than waiting until it is ready to be printed. Months or even years before the book is published, you will already be making money. This can even bring in more money than you’d ever get from a publisher’s advance. And your book will sell more copies when it is ready to be printed and shipped, because everything you create will be advertising your book.

    {IN SUMMARY|ACTION POINT}:

When you write a book, proactively look for the right publisher using the 3 strategies above and you’ll have the best of both worlds. Through the whole process from book idea to New York Times Bestseller, you’ll be making money. You’ll be able to create a book that becomes an automatic bestseller and might even earn you a passive 6 or 7-figure income.

If you want to find out how to become a book publisher that produces revenue and becomes a bestseller, then follow the formula that others use to reach that goal. Choose to use the Key Factors outlined above and keep your eye on the ball, and you’ll knock it out of the park

  • Backlinks - use the wrong methods at your peril
By admin on October 7th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

    how to get more backlinks

OK, this is a immersive subject and I need to emphasise it’s not an exact science. But here is what I have learned in my analysis at the Backlinks clinic:

    Authority - simplified

The more authority your web pages have the better you will rank on Google. Authority means that people trust you and your information. The good news is that authorities trusted by humans are also trusted by Google. A good illustration is the .edu and .gov suffixes. These domains imply they are credible sources of information and it’s a proven fact that in the eyes of Google backlinks from these domains to your web pages will contribute authority to your web pages. Another shining example is Wikipedia as the contents here are largely added by by group of people as opposed to a single marketer.

So it follows that authority is very heavily influenced by the source of your backlinks and if authoritative web pages link to your site then you inherit their influence and in the eyes of Google you become more authoritative and hence the trust in your web pages by Google goes up.

How Google declares what is and isn’t authoritative is a guarded secret for good reason and falls in line with Google’s philosophy of “Do no evil”. The last thing the web needs is an individual or a group exploiting the methods that Google uses in its efforts to try and bring some order to probably the most important technological development of our times.

How not to get Authority and Backlinks

In the same vein it’s valuable to state some ‘black hat sources and practices of acquiring backlinks that Google not only dislikes but appears to be acting to ‘’categorize as illegitimate authorities. In no particular order of merit, the common examples are:

    • Paid backlinks – web pages where individuals buy and sell backlinks
    • Comment spam – entries that have links on web sites that are just not related to the main theme.
    • Low quality and *duplicate content – ‘scraped’ or otherwise
    • Rapid backlink growth – there are plenty of ways that this is achievable, Google isn’t stupid. Any sudden rise in the amount of backlinks is going to register on Google’s radar, specifically if it’s a recently registered domain.
    • Backlinks from villainous sites – these are particularly nasty as you are guilty by association - need I say more.

*There is another factor where I may be on dodgy ground, but large media portals seem to get a lot of authority and I have definitely found significant numbers of the same article over and over again on different portals with no penalties, I am still monitoring this, only as some of the results I am seeing go against the consistent behaviors I usually expect to see. More on this is in a future post….

  • Search Engine Marketing for More Traffic and Sales
By admin on October 6th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

If you are looking for targeted traffic, you should definitely turn to search engines to get them. In order to make sure that you do not miss out on this important source of website traffic, your site must be highly visible to the search engines. Read more about Google through google secret loophole review materials.

Search engines are definitely valuable to many online businesses that depend on traffic from them to earn money. Making sure your website is visible to the search engine is the first step to make sure you get all the advantages of search engine traffic. These search engine companies use software known as spiders or search bots. These spiders are software programs that search and index your websites. Read the following guidelines below to make sure your websites are indexed by the search bots.

There are some objects in your website that search engines may not make sense of. So, if your website is purely made up of images and animations, you might as well put it down because search engines will not understand your website. To make sure search engines understand your website, check the source code of your website. If your source code is empty, spiders will not see anything as well. It would be better if you have more text than graphics simply because spiders understand it.

Your target keywords should always be in your website. You must analyze what keywords are relevant to your site and predict which one’s people will type in the boxes of the search engines to find you. Your title should contain your best keywords. The website title tells both the search engine spiders and the visitors what the page is about. Spread your keywords throughout your site to tell the spiders that your website is indeed about that keyword. Do not repeat keywords too many times because this will turn off both the search engine spiders and your human visitors.

If you create a highly visible website that the search engines love, then you will benefit from a constant flow of interested visitors. Take advantage of what the search engines are offering.

  • How to Make Rap Beats
By admin on October 5th, 2009 | No Comments Comments

Wannabe rappers often do not have the persistence or the talent to carry on with their pursuit and because of this quit prematurely. Persistence on top of a bit of talent will go an awful long way to helping you succeed though. It is a well known fact that many of today’s rap stars originated from city ghettos but succeeded because they persevered at developing their skills in light of the social adversity they faced. Having a good outlook toward your rapping will help you succeed in the smallest amount of time. Persistence, consistency and the will to succeed are all the ingredients you need.

Three main sounds have to be learnt beforehand creating hip hop instrumentals. The snare drum sound, the drum kick and the hi hat are these sounds. While the drum kick sound is a forceful one, adding vibrations to it can make it bolder. They are classed as the B sounds. Hi hat sound is made from TS sound, while snare sounds come from PSH sound.

While practising using these sounds in sequence is the best way to go. The combination of B, TS, PSH and TS is the best sequence. Practise these sounds on a continual basis until such a time that you are not confused with the series and until the rhythm is ingrained into your mind. Only when you have become proficient with this sequence should you try other combinations. Eventually you will be proficient enough to make your own rap beats. Notice: Check this website: Beats365 to learn more about rap and hip hop

As long as you remember that the rhythm is the most important thing you can master, you will be well on your way. Composing entire songs will become easy after this. Although mistakes will happen while learning, do not become downhearted. By practising continuously, you will hit the heights you want to scale. I would like to add that if you want to make hip hop beats you should prepare for hard work.

    small business erp

Commercial organisations need effective process, the focus of leadership and structure that can stretch to enable the business to grow safely as a massive 55% of businesses don’t survive the first five years. The commentators offer useless ‘insight’ as to why this occurs. I continuosly observe three key reasons why this tragedy occurs so often and to so many individuals with different experience, qualifications and knowledge.

The first reason is insufficient market understanding.

No foresight. For example Individuals have the idea, create the product and then expect the market to come and purchase. In this connected age there is no excuse for lack of research before spending any time and cash on designing a product until you have solid confirmed there is a market.

The number two reason is lack of understanding of the basics of business.

A significant proportion of folks starting a company know their trade, how to deliver a service or make a product, but not how to run a business.  Being able to read and track the numbers in the P&L or the balance sheet is a vital. The basic knowledge of accounting is rarely imparted coherently by the business books, online resources and those in the know such as accountants and bookkeepers. This domain is further exacerbated by manufacturers and their alliances peddling small business accounting software at fledgling businesses.

Sage software and other vendors as usual are underserving small businesses.

Large corporations way back worked out that all of their Information systems should be wired together to give them a comprehensive view of the business and then along came ERP software solutions and packages. One software developer NetSuite had the foresight to see the opening in the market and began offering its small business ERP software. NetSuite pricing has since increased and put their solution out of the economic reach of small companies.

The final reason companies don’t survive is because of a dirth of process and procedures that put in place the essential behaviours and consistency a business must have to operate efficiently.

    erp for small business

Managing a business effectively is about organisation, focus and process as a massive 55% of businesses don’t survive the first five years. The observers offer banal opinions as to why this occurs. I continuosly observe three key reasons why this tragedy occurs so often and to so many people with different backgrounds, qualifications and knowledge.

The first reason is lack of market comprehension.

No foresight. For example Individuals dream up the concept, create the product and then expect the market to appear and purchase. In networked age there is no excuse for lack of investigation prior to wasting any time and cash on building a product until you have solid confirmed there is a market.

The second reason is lack of understanding of the basics of business.

The basic knowledge of accounting is not very often imparted coherently by the business publications, online resources and those in the know such as accountants and bookkeepers. Vendors such as Sage software and Intuit callously hoodwink business owners with their messaging that their systems are the cure for all ills.

Small business accounting software is only half of the solution.

Large enterprises way back worked out that all of their Information systems should be joined together to give them a comprehensive picture of the business and then along came ERP software solutions and packages.
